His journey into the world of photography began as a sanctuary from the high-octane environment of emergency medicine. What started as a leisurely distraction from the demanding life of a doctor soon flourished into a profound passion that would steer him into a second vocation. Photography for Richard did not just remain a hobby; it evolved into an obsession and ultimately, a celebrated career swap. Richard prides himself on his relaxed and unobtrusive approach to capturing weddings. Beyond the realm of photography, Richard’s heart belongs to the rustic charm of Yorkshire where he resides with his wonderful wife, Louise. Together they shepherd the youthful spirits of their two children, Tristan and Thea, nurturing a household brimming with life’s little joys. Their family completeness is portrayed through the playful antics of Maisie, their delightfully ‘mad’ little boxer dog, ensuring there’s never a dull moment in the Perry household.

Together, they have recently welcomed the pitter-patter of four small paws into their lives with the addition of Stanley, the young spaniel puppy, whose boundless energy ensures that their home is an arena of never-ending play and affection.
