Whether it's a huge country mansion, a local community hall, a teepee or even your own back yard the venue you choose to host your big day is incredibly important. The venue and the way it is presented are the canvas upon which the story of your wedding day. Elements of the venue should reflect you as a couple and provide an environment in which you and your loved ones can truly enjoy themselves.

Because the venue and your own decorative touches set the scene for your wedding it is important that your photographer documents them in order to tell your story and provide fully formed memories of the day when you look back on your wedding photos.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding over the Christmas period in the beautiful Falcon Manor in Settle. This beautiful house was exquisitely finished and very comfortable. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for guests and the bedrooms were lovely. The bridal suit was large and beautifully finished giving a fantastic space for the bride and her party to get ready.

There were wonderful log fires dotted around giving a lovely warm feeling to the house. The staff were very accommodating and took exceptional care of even the smallest details in order to make the day a success.

Falcon Manor was a wonderful venue and I would highly recommend it to couples planning on getting married in the Yorkshire area.
