Earlier this August I had the honour and pleasure of capturing the beautiful day of Hannah and Michael, now Mr and Mrs Richardson. This wonderful couple have recently moved themselves and their beautiful baby boy to the Middle East. Moving abroad with a little one and setting up a new life in a foreign country is no small task. However, in the midst of all of this they also managed, in the space of a short few months to organise (from a different country, I may add) this beautiful Yorkshire wedding.

The elegant surroundings of the Grand Hotel and Spa were beautifully complemented by the lovely decorations Hannah and Michael had chosen. Hannah and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxed morning of pampering with their make up artist and hair stylist. Hannah had chosen a beautiful Enzoani Wedding Gown from Little Pearl Bridal Boutique. The look was topped off with a lovely bouquet from Wild Floral Couture. As you can see from the photos, Hannah made for a stunning bride and added that extra touch of beauty to what was already a gorgeous day. Michael waited patiently at the top of the isle to get the first look at his bride. As you can see Archie was there to give moral support to his Dad and also catch a first look at his Mummy all dressed up.

Surrounded by family and friends this wonderful couple said their vows and became husband and wife. It was clear to see on their faces how much love they had for each other and for their little man Archie. They make a truly beautiful young family.

After the wedding breakfast was eaten, the speeches had been read and the magnificent cake from Where the Ribbon Ends had been cut I took the couple for a walk along the river in York and took advantage of a wonderful sunset.

When we returned from our sunset photoshoot the Mr and Mrs Richardson enjoyed their first dance, which was played by their band for the evening, Southwest.

It was a wonderful day and it was clear that everyone had enjoyed themselves immensely. To think that they had put all of this together in such a short space of time from a different part of the world was a true testimony to the determination this couple are capable of, which I am sure will serve them well in the years to come. I am truly honoured that I was the one they chose to capture their big day.
