Helen and Olly
This October I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple’s big day at Hornington Manor. It was the perfect setting for such a beautiful day. Helen and Olly first met when they were in sixth form. It is clear for all to see that their many years together have forged them into a strong and loving couple. They enjoy traveling, going to the theatre, going for walks with the odd pub pit stop. Whilst on a walk around Malham Cove, Olly proposed with an engagement ring that he had spent a number of months designing himself.
Helen and Olly’s family and friends all gathered around them at Hornington Manor to hear this lovely couple say their vows and make their promises to each other. Helen looked stunning in her Justin Alexander gown, from The Harrogate Wedding Lounge. Complemented beautifully by the hair and make-up expertise of Nicola from Wedding Hair and Make-up York. The gorgeous floral work and venue dressing was done by Helen’s Mum, Jane and Sister, Clare.
This wonderful day was filled with laughter, love and some heartfelt words. It really was an honour to be the one to capture Helen and Olly’s wedding day.
Following a beautiful sunset portrait session with me it was time for the first dance. Helen and Olly along with their guests partied the night away with the amazing talents of DJ Danny Barnett and Saxophonist Emma Johnson (Organised via Jonny Ross Music).
To Helen and Olly, I wish you a life time of happiness together. Thank you for choosing me to capture your big day!
Wedding Rings were designed and made by Edward James Jewellers in Sheffield.
The Wedding Cake came from Marks and Spencer.
Caterers were Eric’s Restaurant in Huddersfield.
